They provide a refuge when it’s needed near the hospital. They allow parents dealing with similar situations to come together. They foster the healing process and give families the opportunity to focus on getting their children well. <br />And it’s individual donors like you who make it possible.<span style="text-decoration: underline;"><strong> No matter the size, the cumulative impact of the gifts you give – whether monetary, in kind, or volunteer hours – is profound. There is absolutely no way we could operate without your support.<br /><br /></strong></span>The average family stays at our Ronald McDonald House for 15 days, but some stay much longer depending on their child’s illness. There isn’t a maximum length of time people can stay at our house. As long as we have an open room and their children’s illness needs them near, we will have a place for them. <strong><span style="text-decoration: underline;">Considering a night’s stay at our House is a $15 donation, savings on hotel costs, meals, and transportation is huge. Most importantly, the support our families receive from volunteers and other parents is, priceless and unforgettable.</span></strong><br /><br />Where Your Gifts Go</p>
<p>Thank you for trusting us with your donation dollars. We make sure every dollar is spent wisely. The same goes for the cents as well – after all, there’s no such thing as small change. We remain vigilant in only asking $15 per night per family, but there are many families that cannot afford the financial burden especially when their stay is lengthy. The RMHC Global Policy is that families are never turned away; if it’s not possible to pay, <span style="text-decoration: underline;">the donation request is waived immediately</span>.
