Volunteer

Our house is the "House That Love Built" because of the people that have put so much time and love into it. Our volunteers are truly the heart of our organization and we are continually grateful for their gift of time.

If you've been looking for a place to volunteer, there are several ways you can help us. You can adopt a regular, weekly schedule or help out at one of our annual fundraisers or special events.  You choose what works best with your talents, time and energies!

Volunteers make the difference in the lives of all the families that come through our doors - by cooking, by hosting, by listening, by nurturing, by simply being there and helping.

We cannot explain to you enough, how big of a difference our volunteers make. We cannot thank them or recognize them enough for the time that they so graciously give. Each minute they give of themselves moves mountains for the thousands of families a year that stay at our house.

If you are interested in volunteering donwlaod our Volunteer Application form and send it to us.

Here are various volunteer opportunities. Please take a look and contact us with questions.

Chef Boyardee- Sign up to cook a meal for our families. We have 3 kitchens available for cooking, or cook at home and bring the meal in. Breakfast, lunch, or dinner, the families will appreciate not having to worry about making a meal after a long day spent at a nearby hospital.

Fun Activity - Host an activity for the families. Ideas include: Movie night, storytelling and craft making ….let your creativity flourish.

Collect Pop-tabs- We collect soda pop-tabs as a fundraiser. The pure aluminum found on the tops of soda cans is recycled. Clovis Recycling is matching our total donation for 2011. Last year we made enough to support 200 families!

Project Green- Our Serenity Garden (a tribute to children that have stayed at the Ronald House and have lost their lives) needs the help of a green thumb, from season to season.
